This was the last week of the 2015-16 school year.
I am happy to report that 10 classes returned (or paid for) all their library Books. That means the following classes got to enjoy some popsicles during the last week of school: Kindergarten, Mrs. Gaes and Mrs. Kirkwood ; 1st Grade, Mrs Hanson and Mrs. Hufnagel; 2nd Grade, Mrs. Hawkes; 3rd Grade, Mr. Mason and Mrs. Engstrom; 4th Grade, Mrs. Burge ; 5th Grade Ms. Sullivan and Ms. Durkin.
If your child still has books at home they can return them in the Fall. Unfortunately if your child does not return their books then they will be unable to checkout any new books until their record is clear (that means either the books are returned or paid for).
This is what we got up to this week:

This is what we got up to this week:
- Kindergarten classes completed a shapes and position words activity and then some explore and playtime with our STEMy table activities.
- First Grade heard the book Reshenka's Eggs and then some explore and playtime with our STEMy table activities.
- With Second Grade I 'read' some David Wiesner books and then we had some explore and playtime with our STEMy table activities.
- With Third, Fourth and Fifth Grade we used the iclickers to play an end of year quiz which was lots of fun. Then if time permitted (some games took longer than others due to some technical difficulties) we explored the many STEM toys we have in the Media Center.
